I Was Only Nineteen
There's so much excellent work on the internet. It seems sometimes I can't get enough.
If you're a Viet Nam era vet this will make you cry.
If you're any kind of vet this will make you cry.
If you have a heart this will make you cry.
It's wonderful.

I do thank you for your job. I've never had to call 911, but if I ever do, I hope I get a dispatcher that is as caring as you sound. You def. have a very important job. Thank you.
hmmm Blogger seems to have eaten my first comment, so I'll try again. If this posts twice, Sorry!!

You said your job is misunderstood. Well, I for one, am thankful for 911 dispatchers. I've never had to call 911, but if I ever do I hope to get dispatcher that is as caring as you sound. Thank you.
Wow.

Tracy, Thanks for the post at Tanker Brothers in the first place. A remarkable song that despite being of the Viet Nam era, I had never heard/seen before.
Kat, Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad I have this blog to pass along such incredible work.
