Change of Life
Just a brief note for those who have read this blog for some time. As of Feb. 20th I will no longer be a police/fire/ems/911 dispatch supervisor. I am finally cutting the cord and finishing my law enforcement career at the local county jail as a dispatcher/booking officer. For those who do not know, this is quite different from what I have been doing and mountains of stress less. I'll let you know how it's going.

Thanks Rebekah. I'm a little nervous, but I've worked there for a short time 7 years ago, so it's not totally unfamiliar. The change came from my inability to put up with the way the management here mistreats it's employees. I've outlined a few of their infamies on here before, so I won't go into it again unless you want me to. I'm 19 months away from vesting, so I can hang in there at the new job for at least that long.
Meant to comment earlier but .... well, you know how it is. All the best of luck in your change and I hope you get out of it what you want.
