NEW YORK — New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin criticized efforts to redevelop the World Trade Center site when confronted in a television interview about delays in rebuilding his city after Hurricane Katrina.
During the "60 minutes" interview, a correspondent pointed out flood-damaged cars still on the streets of New Orleans' devastated Ninth Ward. Nagin replied, "You guys in New York can't get a hole in the ground fixed, and it's five years later. So let's be fair," according to CBS.

Ray Nagin is USELESS!! He is wasting good air that someone else could be breathing. He and the Governor of Louisiana,(Bless Her Crying Heart)want to wait for the Feds to bail them out. They didnt have a good Hurricane Plan then, and a year later they still dont have a plan. You don't hear the folks from Mississippi crying. They are moving forward as best they can!
That's one sad dude to resort to such a low.
I still remember his comments about New Orleans being a "chocolate" community. Then digging in deeper by saying that chocolate milk has a little bit of white milk mixed in with it. What a jerk. Why do they let him speak in public?
The Lemonheads had it right. It really is a shame about Ray.
He's an idiot. But that's not the remarkable part, man....he got RE-ELECTED! It's a damned city full of idiots!
